April, 2012:
We started out by visiting the 2012 FRC Competition in Raleigh. We were there to see the Zimanators from Swansboro High School, and we learned how teams work during competition. Then, we decided to turn our academy into FLL Teams and compete! Since all the high schoolers told us that day that we would be the future of robotics, we chose the name "FUTUREBOTS."

All the grades in the school came by to see our work and learn about FLL and robotics. We will keep teaching them this year so we can have more teams every year.
